A Caring Hand Medical Adult Day Care was opened February 10th, 2004. This facility holds 93 clients and employs approximately 40 people to include, Administrative personnel, Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Activity Assistants, Van Drivers, and Cooks. We are proud to say that we have two to four registered nurses on site daily and maintain an approximate ratio of one staff per four clients. This facility is 7500 square feet and is divided into six separate joining rooms which allows for different activities. This facility contains a central nursing station which provides easy access for emergencies and additional medical needs. Our rooms are labeled for convenience identified as an independent room for clients in need of more one on one activity; craft room for clients who enjoy crafts; recreation room for clients who enjoy playing pool, cards and other games. Our dining area is separate from the regular activity area which is able to accommodate our cooking classes and small groups when not being used for dining. In this area we are also equipped with a commercial kitchen where all meals are prepared on site; hot and fresh! We are able to accommodate any type of diet to include different constancies.
We are proud to say that we have had a deficiency free survey which is contributed to the quality care we provide. We go above and beyond to make this facility a great place for clients, staff and providers that depend on us to provide a much needed service.
